The M166 engines were produced in four versions, from 1.4 to 2.1 liters. The first two versions were those of 1.4 and 1.6 liters, to which the others were gradually added. The M166 engines were replaced in 2004 by the M266 engines , also designed for “sandwich” floors, but some of them were used until February 2005 for the Vaneo MPV. The following table shows the various versions of the M166 engines in more detail.
